The Dukes Pantry cafe will be serving hot meals, pasta, jacket potatoes etc for riders to load up on. They're staying open late until after the rider briefing so any last minute arrivals can get a good meal before the big day.

Riders must sign on in person to give extra health and safety information, sign the waiver and collect their number boards, freebies and goody bags. Your compulsory equipment will also be checked. Please allow plenty of time for sign on.

ALL RIDERS MUST ATTEND this briefing to be given any last minute details, changes or instructions. Bag drops to be taken to feed stations can be dropped off after the briefing. No bag drops accepted Saturday morning. More info soon.

If it's too early to think about cooking, the Duke's Pantry Cafe will be open serving a selection of porridge, muesli, bacon and sausage sandwiches, croissants, fruit salad and hot drinks.

All registered riders must check in as they line up to start the race to account for any non-starters. Compulsory equipment may be spot checked.
The race will start behind a neutralized lead out by a vehicle on the Forest Drive.

From midday throughout the evening the cafe will have a BBQ and be serving hot food, cold drinks and more. Finishers will receive a free food voucher.
Any riders not reaching the check point by this time will be given an alternative route to follow to arrive back at Kielder Castle Visitor Centre before dark.
N.B. Except in the case of severe mechanical failure or injury, riders are expected to get themselves back to race HQ.
Any riders not reaching the check point by this time will not be allowed to continue the race and will be picked up and returned to Kielder Castle Visitor Centre to sign off.
Every rider must sign off at HQ whether they have completed the course or not, in return they'll receive a number of competitor goodies including a bottle of Geltsdale real ale and a food voucher for the BBQ being run by The Dukes Pantry.
Spot prizes will be given out for various other categories/reasons, but you've got to be there or it will go to someone else!
Relax, soak up the atmosphere and be satisfied that you've been part of British mountain bike history and maybe even completed your first 100 mile mountain bike race.
